Overview
Arrival in Jaisalmer before noon or lunch time, and explore a few attractions like Vyas Chhatri, Gadisar Lake, NK Sharma puppet show etc. Night stay Jaisalmer City hotel.
Enjoy a half day visit of Jaisalmer Golden Fort, which is the only alive Fort in India where more than 30,000 people live inside. Here you will visit: Patwon Haveli, Nathmal Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli, Cannon point, Jain temples etc. Later leave for Sam sand dune by 4 pm.
Sam is a desert area, one of the best in whole India, where you will first check-in at the booked desert camp, and later enjoy desert safari activities (Camel & Jeep safari), and other activities like quad bike on dunes, paragliding, etc.
By 7 pm you will come back to camp and enjoy a 2 hour musical dance program with dinner, and rest for the night at the booked desert camp.
Day 3: Leave for Jodhpur which is 4-5 hour drive, and reach by lunch time. After check-in at the hotel, visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada (Taj Mahal of Jodhpur), local markets of Jodhpur like Clock tower area. Night stay Jodhpur.
Visit Mandore Garden & Umaid Bhawan Palace, and finish the tour in the 2nd half of the day. You can catch a train, flight from Jodhpur, and also from Ajmer, which is 200 km and 3-4 hour drive, or Jaipur which is 6 hour drive.
